A teenager has been charged in relation to an attack on a Palmerston North pizza delivery man with a golf club.
The man, who is 52, was delivering pizzas to a house in Brentwood Ave in the suburb of Highbury on Monday night.
The police say that when he got to the address there appeared to be no one home. As he left the property he was assaulted with a golf club and three pizzas were stolen.
A 16-year-old has been charged with aggravated robbery and will appear in the Palmerston North District Court on Thursday.
The police say they are also seeking a second person in relation to the incident and want to hear from anyone who may have information or saw any suspicious behaviour in the Brentwood Ave, Croydon Ave and Farnham Ave areas of Highbury.
