The New Zealand Breakers have beaten the Wildcats 93-89 in the second of their Australian National Basketball league three-match play-off series in Perth.
In a close match, the Breakers held a narrow advantage for most of the game, but the result was still in doubt with just half a second remaining.
After losing the first leg by 23 points in Auckland, on Thursday night, the Breakers had to win on Sunday.
They now have home advantage in the decider at the North Shore Events centre on Wednesday.
