V8 Super car drivers preparing for this weekend's Hamilton 400 have launched a public fundraising appeal for New Zealand driver Jason Richards, who is suffering from cancer.
The drivers have launched an auction website selling a range of items donated by them.
Richards returned to the track at the non-championship round in Melbourne where he came second in race two.
New Zealand driver Greg Murphy says that while drivers are all fierce competitiors on the track, off the track they are a bunch of like-minded people who really care for their own.
