Police in Hastings have taken items of interest from a house where a man was found dead on Saturday.
A post-mortem showed 59-year-old Douglas Appleby died of head injuries and stab wounds.
Police says items had been taken from the house for forensic testing and the scene examination will end on Wednesday.
