Broadcaster and actress Kerry Smith has died after a short battle with cancer.
Her career included various radio and television roles, including playing the glamorous Magda McGrath - deputy editor of the fashion magazine at the centre of the 1980s television programme Gloss.
She was also a continuity host on television, presented the weather and hosted the home improvement show Changing Rooms.
In January, Ms Smith took leave from her daytime radio show on The Breeze to fight what was then described as treatable melanoma.
Broadcaster Mediaworks has confirmed Ms Smith died on Wednesday morning and extended its sympathies to her family and friends.
