The Hobbit has already lost a cast member, just one month after the start of filming on the movie.

British actor Rob Kazinsky has quit his role as Fili, one of the film's 13 dwarf adventurers.

In a statement posted online, Hobbit director Sir Peter Jackson says Kazinsky is returning home for personal reasons but there's time to find a replacement while scenes without the dwarves are shot.

In a post through the social networking website Twitter, Kazinsky says he is leaving the film because of health issues.
