Fiji has been confirmed as the opposition for the All Blacks extra test fundraiser for the Christchurch Earthquake appeal.

The New Zealand Rugby Union says the game will be played at Carisbrook in Dunedin on 22 July.

All Blacks coach Graham Henry says the test will be a key match for his team as it prepares for the Tri-Nations series and the Rugby World Cup.

The Fiji Rugby Union says it will field a competitive team within the parameters of the travel ban imposed in the wake of the 2006 military coup.

Some Fijians associated with the military-led government have been banned from entering New Zealand until such time as elections are scheduled.
