Two young men have been arrested in England in connection with the death of a New Zealand teenager.

Emily Longley, 17, formerly of Auckland, was found dead at a house in the seaside town of Bournemouth on Saturday.

Police have confirmed the arrest of two men, aged 17 and 19, both of whom were known to Ms Longley.

Neither has been charged and both have been released on bail. Police have not said what the pair were arrested for.

The cause of the the teenager's death is still undetermined and the coroner has asked for further toxicology reports.

Those reports could take several weeks and police say they are still considering all avenues in the investigation.

Police say Emily Longley had not been in touch with them regarding a stalker she had referred to on her Facebook page days before she died.
