Auckland police are urgently appealing for sightings of a mother they say is mentally challenged and her baby.
Jessica Heather, 32, ran away from her mother's home in the suburb of Avondale on Saturday morning.
She was last seen wearing a black top, blue denim jacket, long dark green skirt and red Chuck Taylor shoes.
Police say Ms Heather always wears sunglasses, regardless of the weather.
Anyone with information on the pair's whereabouts should contact police.
