A 26-year-old disqualified driver has turned himself in to Manukau police station after a hit-and-run collision in South Auckland which has left a man critically injured, police say.
They say a 23-year-old man was struck by a car as he was crossing East Tamaki Road in Otara about 10.30pm on Tuesday.
Police say the 26-year-old man is being held in custody.
