A Hamilton street was cordoned off on Friday as police investigated a suspicious package at a branch of the BNZ.
A police spokesperson says a box was discovered at the Commerce Street branch of the bank just before 11am on Friday.
The branch was evacuated and a 100-metre cordon established.
Police lifted the cordon about 2.15pm.
