Police say roads around the country will be congested on Monday as Queen's Birthday weekend draws to a close.
No deaths have been reported so far.
Superintendent Paula Rose says traffic will build up on state highways throughout the day.
She says traffic will be worst in and out of Auckland and on State Highway 1 at Otaki, heading south to Wellington.
