Police say one lane has been reopened at the site of a large slip on State Highway Three in Taranaki.
The slip happened before 3.50pm on Sunday about a kilometre south of Mokau township.
Police say only the one lane will be open overnight, and they are advising motorists to be cautious.
Contractors will return to the site on Monday to clear the rest of the debris.
