New Zealand tennis player Marina Erakovic and her partner will meet Australian Sam Stosur and German Sabine Lisicki in the semifinals of the women's doubles at Wimbledon.
Stosur and Lisicki beat 6th seeds Sorana Cirstea of Romania and Japan's Ayumi Morita 6-4 6-3 in the quarterfinals and will play Erakovic and Tamarine Tanasugarn of Thailand.
In the other doubles match, Czech Kveta Peschke and Katarina Srebotnik of Slovakia beat the Chinese pair Peng Shuai and Zheng Jie 6-2 6-7(7) 6-4 on Thursday.
Earlier, Lisicki was beaten by Maria Sharapova in the semifinals of the singles 6-4 6-3.
Sharapova, 24, will play Czech Petra Kvitova in the final on Sunday. She last won the title in 2004.
Eighth-seeded Kvitova beat Victoria Azarenka, of Belarus, 6-1 3-6 6-2 to reach her first Grand Slam final.
