Police in Wellington are seeking witnesses to what they say was the severe and unprovoked beating and robbery of a man in Wellington.
The 26-year-old was found dazed and bleeding heavily on the Hutt Road near the bottom of Ngauranga Gorge, at 3.40am on Saturday.
He had been walking home when he was attacked by two men.
Police are seeking sightings of them, and an accompanying woman.
