Travel to and from Auckland international airport is expected to take an extra 10 minutes, from Sunday night.
One of the main roads to the airport is closed for the next four nights.
George Bolt Drive, which is part of State Highway 20, will be re-surfaced from Sunday - Wednesday night.
The Transport Agency says detours will be in place, but the closure could add about another 10 minutes travel time.
