Guns and drugs have been seized in a series of raids across the Wellington region.
Inspector Darrin Thomson says 16 people have been arrested in Churton Park and Paraparaumu for possession of drugs for supply including cannabis and methanphetamine.
Mr Thompson says nearly a dozen firearms were seized in one raid.
He says children were living in the raided homes and they have been referred to Child, Youth and Family.
Twenty-five people were arrested and charged in July after a similar operation in the Wellington district.
