Wednesday's outpatient clinics at a number of Christchurch hospitals have been cancelled
There will be no outpatients clinics at Christchurch and Christchurch Women's hospitals and at Burwood, and Princess Margaret Hospitals.
Acute and urgent surgery, such as cancer surgery, will go ahead at Christchurch and Christchurch Women's Hospital but all other surgery has been postponed.
All surgery is cancelled at Burwood and Ashburton Hospitals.
People booked to have surgery at St George's or Southern Cross Hospitals should phone the hospital before leaving home to confirm whether their surgery is able to go ahead.
Mental Health outpatient clinics are cancelled at Hillmorton.
