A 50-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Eman Hermiz who was stabbed to death in the Wellington suburb of Strathmore on Friday.
The man remains in Wellington Hospital, where he is being treated for injuries sustained in the incident, which occurred at a Raukawa Street address.
Police say a special hearing has been requested at the man's bedside on Monday.
They say a scene examination has continued over the weekend, and will continue over the coming days.
Police are not seeking anyone else in connection with the incident.
