The deaths of a couple in Western Bay of Plenty have been referred to the coroner.
Scott Meikle, 43, and Gail Almond, 41, were found by police on Sunday at house in Pukehina.
Detective Inspector Mark Loper says a scene examination has been completed and a blessing was held there on Tuesday night.
Mr Loper says the police investigation and post-mortem results confirm that a third person was not involved in the deaths. However, no further comment will be made.
