A motorcyclist injured in a crash with a car on State Highway One just north of Hamilton on Monday, has died in Waikato hospital.
His death brings the Waikato road toll to 38, four more than for the same period last year.
Two elderly women were killed on the Waikato expressway on Tuesday morning after their car, which was travelling on the wrong side of the road, collided with another vehicle.
Police are urging motorists to take care on the roads, particularly with an influx of people from overseas for the Rugby World Cup.
