A teenager has been arrested following an attack on a woman in Lower Hutt on Wednesday evening.
He will appear in the Lower Hutt District Court on Saturday, charged with assault with intent to rob.
A woman was grabbed by a man with a knife at 5.30pm on Wednesday, but screamed and got away.
Detective Senior Sergeant Paul Borrell says further charges may be laid.
A connection between the attack and similar incidents in April and May, or two indecent assaults on female victims in the suburb of Naenae in the past six weeks, have not been ruled out.
