The chief executive of New Zealand Cricket, Justin Vaughan, is stepping down.
The former New Zealand international took up the role in early 2007.
He says he is leaving for two main reasons: the need for the chief executive to be able to commit through to the co-hosting of the Cricket World Cup in 2015, and the intense travel requirements, which have become too much with a young family.
Mr Vaughan steps down at the end of November. The recruiting process to find his replacement begins immediately.
