The Melbourne Cup is travelling through New Zealand this week.
Melbourne Cup winners from New Zealand include Rising Fast from Wellington and Greytown, which took the race in 1954, and the 1983 winner, Kiwi from Hawera.
The Cup will travel through those regions, as well being the feature of a luncheon in Auckland.
The 151st Melbourne Cup will be run on 1 November.
