Sky Television has paid tribute to a 34-year-old employee who died after being attacked outside an Auckland nightclub.
Billy Dawson was assaulted outside the Spy Bar in the Viaduct in the early hours of Friday morning and died in hospital at about 5:30 that evening.
Police have launched a homicide investigation. Three men have been charged with assault, with one man also facing a charge of posession of methamphetamine.
Sky Television said in a statement that Mr Dawson was a well-known and respected employee.
