A man has died after being thrown from the cab of a truck on a Southland farm on Wednesday evening.
Police say the 40-year-old man had been spreading fertiliser on a steep bank on the farm at Josephville, near Lumsden, when his truck rolled. He died at the scene.
Police say they are investigating in conjunction with Occupational Safety and Health. The death has been referred to the coroner.
