Police have located a man who sparked an armed offenders callout in Wairarapa on Thursday.
The callout followed an incident in Featherston about 7pm when police were advised of an argument between the occupants of a house in Brandon Street.
Police say a firearm was mentioned and the Armed Offenders Squad was sent from Wellington as a precaution.
Police contacted neighbours by telephone and email, warning them to stay inside.
A 47-year-old man was found about 9pm and is being spoken to by police.
