The Invercargill Fire Service has been busy dealing with strong winds that loosened roofing iron.
However, flooding that was expected from heavy rain has not eventuated.
The fire service says officers attended four callouts involving loosened roofs on Monday night.
They were able to tie down tarpaulins before the heavy rain set in.
