Name suppression has lapsed for a former member of the Parliamentary Press Gallery accused of defrauding the organisation while he was its Secretary and Treasurer.
Earlier this month three fraud-related charges were laid against Ian Llewellyn, 47, in the Wellington District Court.
It is alleged that between January 2002 and February last year he dishonestly used a bank card and a chequebook to obtain a pecuniary advantage.
Mr Llewellyn reappeared before a Registrar on Wednesday and was remanded on bail to reappear on 18 November.
