A man has been arrested after what police have described as a vicious and violent home invasion in the Auckland suburb of Glenfield.
Police say a group of armed, masked men forced their way into the house at about 2.30am on Tuesday morning.
They say cash and electronic items were taken from three people, one of them a heavily pregnant woman.
A 37-year-old man is to appear in North Shore District Court charged with aggravated robbery.
