3:46 pm on 14 November 2011

The Queenstown bouncer who allegedly stole CCTV footage of former England rugby captain Mike Tindall cavorting with a woman in a bar, has elected trial by jury.

Jonathan Dixon was charged with accessing a computer and stealing the footage, which he then posted on the internet.

When he appeared in the Queenstown District Court, he was further remanded on bail to appear again in early February.

Mr Tindall - who is married to the Queen's granddaughter, Zara Phillips - was in Queenstown with other members of the England Rugby Team during the Rugby World Cup in September.

Mr Dixon was the doorman at the bar where the incident occurred.
