Divers will continue to search for a missing boatie in Lake Wanaka on Saturday.
Police say Trevor Hawke, 70, was sailing with another person when he fell from their yacht at about 6pm on Thursday.
A police dive squad arrived from Wellington on Friday afternoon, but had not found the man before nightfall forced them to halt the search.
They will resume at 8am.
