Police in Wellington arrested a man after a car was set on fire in Cuba Mall in the central city on Saturday afternoon.
A 40-year-old man is charged with arson and will appear in the Wellington District Court on Monday.
Police do not believe an explosive was used.
Earlier this week, the man appeared in the Wellington District Court to face two charges of threatening behaviour.
