A man appeared in the Lower Hutt District Court on Wednesday facing 40 extra charges of child exploitation.
In July, Arron Paul Laurence, 37, of Lower Hutt was arrested and charged with possession of objectionable material, after an investigation by the Police Online Child Exploitation unit.
The latest charges are sexual violation (11), indecent assault of four boys between 2003 -2005 (seven) and possession of objectionable material (22).
He was remanded in custody until a hearing on 21 December.
