A diesel spill on the Rimutaka Hill Road has been cleaned up.
Police were alerted to the spill after receiving reports on Monday of truck drivers struggling to gain traction between Upper Hutt and the top of the Rimutaka Hill on State Highway Two.
The New Zealand Transport Agency says the spill was cleaned up by 9am.
