Black Caps well placed in second test

New Zealand were 139 for three wickets in their second innings after the second day of the second test cricket against Australia in Hobart.

New Zealand has an overall lead of 153.

The captain Ross Taylor is on 42 after putting together an unbroken 66-run stand with Kane Williamson, who has scored 34.

The Black Caps had earlier dismissed Australia for 136, their third lowest score against New Zealand in 52 Tests.

Chris Martin, Doug Bracewell and Test debutant Trent Boult each took three wickets.

Scores: New Zealand 150 and 139-3. Australia 136.
