Police in Nelson are trying to find an elderly man who has not returned from a walk in The Wood area of the city.
John Small, 86, went walking about 8.30pm. He is described as Pakeha, is tall but hunched over and has a solid build.
Mr Small has white hair and uses a walking stick.
He was last seen wearing a fawn-coloured jacket and grey pants.
