Police in Christchurch are searching a second cemetery in connection with the disappearance of a teenager.
Hayden Miles, 16, went missing on 22 August.
A man appeared in court charged with his murder this week. Two other people have been charged in connection with the case.
Detective Senior Sergeant Tony Hill says a scene examination began on Thursday morning at Memorial Park Cemetery, not far from the Ruru Lawn Cemetery where police have been working since Monday.
Human remains were discovered at that site, but police will not be commenting on the identity of the remains until next of kin are informed.
Police will also not be comment on the results of a post-mortem examination, although Hayden's family are expected to make a statement, after the formal identification process is completed.
