Two men have been arrested and charged in relation to an alleged methamphetamine supply ring in Lower Hutt.
Senior Sergeant Steve Harwood says police executed search warrants on Saturday at a Stokes Valley address and another property in High Street, Lower Hutt .
He said police recovered methamphetamine, a lever action rifle and ammunition.
Senior Sergeant Harwood says the arrests are part of a wider investigaton targeting drugs and organised crime, and more arrests are likely.
The two men, aged 24 and 25, were to appear in the Lower Hutt District Court on Monday charged with possession of methamphetamine for supply, conspiring to supply methamphetamine and unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition.
