A post-mortem examination has confirmed human remains found in Christchurch last week are that of missing teenager Hayden Miles.
Officers investigating the 15-year-old's disappearance had been examining Memorial Park Cemetery and the Ruru Lawn Cemetery where unexplained human remains were found.
Hayden Miles disappeared in August this year.
A 27-year-old man has appeared in court charged with his murder.
Two other people have been charged in connection with the case.
