A woman is in hospital are being found floating in water near the Paraparaumu Boating Club.
Two people were walking when they found the woman, aged in her 70s, in a nightdress about 6am on Wednesday.
Detective Sergeant James McKay says she had hypothermia and was taken to Wellington hospital where she is progressing well.
