Beaches in Nelson and Tasman have been declared safe for swimming again.
Last week's flooding forced their closure this week after raw sewage contamination was detected in waters from Nelson to Golden Bay.
Civil Defence say only the beach at Monaco remains off-limits to swimmers.
Officials say all properties affected by slips will have been inspected for a second time by Friday.
Sixty-four properties still have red stickers, meaning they are unsafe to enter, while another 73 have restricted access.
