Three hunters missing in the Mokaihaha area, south of Mamaku in the Bay of Plenty, have been found.
The trio, aged 15, 22 and 23 were dropped off on Tuesday morning but failed to arrive at a pre-arranged pick-up point at midday.
Family members contacted police after an overnight search failed to find them.
The men were found by a search team about 3.30pm on Wednesday afternoon, 7kms from where they were dropped off.
Bay of Plenty police say the men made camp overnight but were poorly prepared for the bush.
They had no compass or map of the area and minimal food supplies.
