The New South Wales Swifts have upset the Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic 57-56 in the trans Tasman netball competition's major semi-final in Hamilton on Sunday night.
The Magic were down by four goals with just two minutes to play but managed to tie the score with less than a minute to play before an intercept gave the Swifts the winning goal.
The Magic, who were the top qualifiers for the semi-finals, still have a chance to make the final.
Next weekend they will play the winner of the minor semi-final between the Melbourne Vixens and the Adelaide Thunderbirds game which is being played in Adelaide on Monday night.
