The NSW Swifts are to host the inaugural trans-Tasman netball grand final in Sydney after beating Waikato/Bay of Plenty Magic, 57-56, in the first semi-final in Hamilton on Sunday.
It was their eighth consecutive win.
The Swifts led 16-15 at the first change, but trailed 32-30 at halftime.
Captain Catherine Cox scored the match-winning goal 21 seconds from full time after the Magic wiped out a six goal deficit with 90 seconds remaining.
It's expected to be announced this week that the grand final on 28 July will be held in the Acer Arena in Sydney.
The Magic will next meet the winner of the other semi-final between the Adelaide Thunderbirds and Melbourne Vixens on Monday.
