A man has been arrested after the discovery of another man's body in a house in Christchurch.
A 65-year-old man was found dead in his house in Goldsmith Place in the suburb of Waltham where he lived alone.
Christchurch police launched a homicide investigation and have charged a 25-year-old man with his murder.
He will appear in the Christchurch District Court on Monday.
The man charged and the dead man knew each other.
