Police are investigating the assault of a 15-year-old girl in a Rotorua park on Sunday.
They say the attack was possibly sexually motivated and took place in Kuirau Park just after 7.30pm.
Police want to speak with people nearby at the time of the assault, in particular the occupants of two vehicles seen in the area at the time.
One group was believed to be a family using the foot pools within the park, while another were the occupants of a green long wheel base vehicle with a spare tyre attached to the boot.
Police also believe a Pakeha male in his 40s may have been involved in the incident and would like to speak to him.
