There are major delays on State Highway 1 just north of Auckland after a logging truck rolled and hit a power pole causing live lines to fall on the road.
Emergency services and power company Vector were called to the scene 2km south of Warkworth on Wednesday.
The truck driver was not injured in the crash about 2.30pm.
One lane is open to motorists but delays are expected on Wednesday night.
Power was cut to about 1000 customers in Puhoi, Pukapuka, Warkworth and Mahurangi, but has been restored.
