The National Party has released its Outdoor Recreation policy, which includes an option to allow Fish and Game to charge a higher licence fee for foreign anglers.
Its Outdoor Recreation spokesperson Eric Roy says it follows requests from the fishing fraternity.
National says if elected to government the party will ensure new, affordable, campsites are created.
The policy also states Conservation Boards should ensure people can use conservation areas for recreation.
