A legal challenge regarding the steps taken relating to the sale of the Crafar farms to a Chinese conglomerate will be heard in the High Court in Wellington on Friday.
A conference call was held at midday on Monday between lawyers for the rival bid headed by Sir Michael Fay, lawyers for the Crown agencies involved in the sale process and Justice Miller to discuss whether the Judicial Review would go ahead.
Last week, lawyers for the Fay bid were given paperwork related to the sale and it was agreed there would be no settlement of the sale to the Shanghai Pengxin group before 5pm on Friday 3 February.
